
Chad Everingham
Chad Everingham is a partner in the Intellectual Property Section with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP. He represents clients on both sides of the docket in intellectual property litigation and other complex civil matters. Before he joined Akin Gump, he served as a United States Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Texas. During his time on the bench, he handled numerous Markman proceedings and trials in intellectual property disputes across a broad range of industries. He is a frequent speaker at CLE events and is a contributing author to Texas Business Litigation, published by ALM Media Properties, LLC. Mr. Everingham has been recognized by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, and Texas Super Lawyers. He earned his J.D. from the Baylor University School of Law and his B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University.
